Därför inför vi nu ett system som rangordnar alla produkter i Profile Store från nivå 1 till 3 utifrån hållbarhet. De olika nivåerna gör det enklare för dig att handla profilprodukter som reflekterar det Lantmännen står för – från produktionslinje till färdig produkt.

För att våra profilprodukter verkligen ska kunna reflektera vilka vi är måste de vara designade med omsorg. Varje delmoment ska ligga i linje med det vi tror på: Höga krav, från hållbar tillverkning och etiska produktionsvillkor till klimatneutral frakt och förvaring.

Sourcing – responsible partners

The Profile Store items are manufactured in factories that have proven social and environmental standards. We ensure that everything is sourced responsibly and that manufacturers have signed up to relevant requirements.

Auditing – regular inspection

Social and production facility audits are carried out by a globally accredited body – Asia Inspection. Audits can include safety procedure inspection, working hour analysis, waste management inspection, factory employee interviews and documentation and certificate assurances.

Auditing and reporting serve to help manufacturers improve their processes and manufacturing output. We carry out regular partner verification and help raise the standard of products and services in developing markets.

Impact – thinking green

When we choose a the Profile Store manufacturing partner we place great importance on how production impacts the surrounding environment. For example, we make sure that waste water is used effectively.

Offset – giving back

Even though we do our best to minimize the environmental effect of transporting goods over long distances, there is still carbon emission to compensate. Profile Store supports certified climate projects such as the first wind farm in Nicaragua, a landfill gas plant in Turkey and a ceramic water purifier project in Cambodia.
